Laundry Attendant – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Laundry Attendant reports to the Laundry Manager and ensures a steady supply of clean linens throughout the hotel. The role also includes pressing and dry‑cleaning guests’ garments and handling various linen items. It is a physically demanding position requiring heavy lifting and carrying.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a constant supply of clean linens for the entire hotel.
• Press and dry‑clean guests’ clothing and other requested items.
• Sort food‑and‑beverage linen and room linen.
• Operate, wax and clean the ironer; feed sheets, table linen, napkins, pillowcases and huck towels.
• Fold and handle linen.

Required profile

• One to two years’ experience in housekeeping or laundry; luxury hotel experience is an asset.
• Strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Ability to follow proper payroll procedures.
• Ability to operate, wax and clean the ironer.
