Chief Compliance Officer

About the role

MAKE is building the world’s first financial platform for content creators and needs a senior compliance leader to design and operate a bank‑grade compliance function. The role is based in The Valley, Anguilla and includes a relocation package.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a comprehensive compliance framework and risk appetite for the company.
• Lead all regulator engagement and reporting, ensuring readiness for examinations.
• Manage the AML/CFT programme, including EWRA, KYC/KYB, and transaction monitoring.
• Own the compliance‑monitoring and testing programme as the Second Line of Defence.
• Support the transition to independent banking licences in Anguilla and Dominica.

Required profile

• 7+ years of compliance experience in banking or fintech.
• Deep expertise in AML/CFT, financial‑crime prevention and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to lead regulator engagement (e.g., FSC) and build high‑performing teams.
• Experience scaling compliance functions in high‑growth environments is a plus.
