About the role

Join Aecon International as a Graduate Quantity Surveyor and work alongside experienced professionals to manage project costs, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project development to align with business expectations, schedules, and budgets.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotes and assist in drafting and negotiating contracts.
• Process interim applications, manage variations, and verify additional payments.
• Review, evaluate, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
• Assist in procuring subcontractors and handling dispute resolution.
• Participate in weekly financial forecasting and prepare cost estimates.
• Maintain records of contract variations and generate profitability reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering (2:2 or higher preferred).
• Full driver’s licence preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Interest in all aspects of engineering and a dynamic workplace.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
