Clinical & Medical AI Expert

About the role

As a Clinical & Medical AI Expert you will act as the guardian of medical truth within TELUS Digital’s AI Community. You will help train and validate large language models on complex clinical data to ensure AI outputs are accurate, safe, and aligned with professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Audit AI “chain‑of‑thought” reasoning for diagnostics to ensure compliance with international clinical protocols (ICD‑11, DSM‑5).
• Verify AI‑generated drug interactions, dosage recommendations, and contraindications against peer‑reviewed literature.
• Precisely label complex biomedical datasets, including imaging (MRI/CT), pathology reports, and genomic data, to improve model visual‑spatial reasoning.
• Identify and mitigate medical hallucinations, creating safety guardrails for clinical AI deployments.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MD/MBBS), Pharmacy (PharmD), Nursing, or Biomedical Sciences.
• Native‑level proficiency (C2+) in your primary language to interpret regional medical terminology.
• English proficiency of at least B1 for technical research and reporting.
• Successful completion of a subject‑specific qualification exam and ID verification.
