Director of Pool & Beach

About the role

The Director of Pool & Beach leads all pool, beach and watersports operations at Four Seasons Anguilla, a Forbes Travel Guide Five‑Star resort. Reporting to senior hotel leadership, this senior position shapes the guest experience, ensures safety and compliance, and drives financial performance across the resort’s aquatic venues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and oversight for pool, beach and watersports areas.
• Develop and execute departmental goals aligned with the hotel’s overall business strategy.
• Maintain day‑to‑day operational excellence while fostering long‑term service excellence.
• Monitor service standards, operational procedures and guest satisfaction metrics.
• Analyze performance data and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Plan scheduling, programming, seasonal activations and staffing based on occupancy and revenue forecasts.
• Ensure all recreational areas are clean, safe, well‑maintained and brand‑compliant.
• Oversee setup and execution of beach events, private functions, wellness activations and group experiences.
• Conduct daily inspections of facilities and equipment, documenting results.
• Manage inventory and procurement for pool and beach operations.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in luxury hospitality or resort operations.
• Strong understanding of safety, compliance and brand standards (Forbes, LQA).
• Excellent analytical and financial acumen to drive performance.
• Ability to inspire and develop high‑performing teams.
• Professional demeanor that reflects the Four Seasons brand.
