Line Cook 3

About the role

Four Seasons Anguilla is hiring a Line Cook 3 for its five-star resort on the northwest coast of the island. Line cooks prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and specifications, and kitchens can be hot, noisy and stressful, so efficiency and speed are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Run the day-to-day operation of the station in the kitchen.
• Assist in creating and preparing menu items and specials.
• Check and complete mise en place and pars, and set up the station.
• Work closely with standard recipes and plate presentations to maintain quality standards in production and presentation.
• Maintain good working relationships with colleagues, giving instruction and encouragement when needed.
• Store items properly at the end of the shift and ensure a clean, neat and organised work area.
• Handle and report any accident immediately, no matter how minor.

Required profile

• One to two years' previous experience in a food and beverage outlet; prior experience in a luxury hotel is considered an asset.
• Ability to operate computer equipment and other food and beverage computer systems.
• Strong communication skills.

Schedule and hours: successful candidates are hired as casual, part-time employees and are expected to work early mornings, days, evenings, holidays and/or weekends.
