Banquet Server - Four Seasons Anguilla

About the role

The Server is an integral part of the guest experience at the Four Seasons resort in Anguilla, a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star resort on the island's northwest shore. The role covers taking orders, making recommendations and timing service so that every order is completed exactly as requested and checked for quality.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their dining experience, working with a team of servers.
• Create memorable moments and demonstrate the finer touches of luxury service.
• Describe food and beverage menu items, explaining their origin, taste and preparation methods.
• Communicate guest orders, including special needs or requests, to the kitchen via the hotel's point-of-sales system and coordinate food timings.
• Check completed kitchen orders against the original order and bring items to the table promptly to protect food quality.
• Break down, clean and set up tables, buffets and food stations.
• Manage several tables at once, be flexible with single diners or large groups, and respect the timing and sequence of orders according to guest preference.

Required profile

• Hospitality spirit and a friendly, calm demeanour.
• Previous experience in food and beverage roles; experience in luxury hotels is considered an asset.
• Strong communication skills.

Schedule: successful candidates are hired as casual part-time employees and are expected to work day and night shifts, holidays and/or weekends.
