Sales Marketing Manager

About the role

The Sales Marketing Manager will lead marketing and sales initiatives for Mallouhana, a luxury resort, reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director and Managing Director. This position blends creative guest‑experience design with revenue generation, brand promotion, and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee growth and daily management of Mallouhana’s social‑media channels, ensuring consistent brand positioning and engaging content.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create on‑site materials, VIP/media itineraries, and internal communications.
• Support local marketing efforts to drive traffic to food‑and‑beverage outlets and the spa, and strengthen community relations.
• Lead and supervise the property‑based Marketing Coordinator, delegating tasks and aligning activities with overall objectives.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and maintaining a qualified lead pipeline.
• Negotiate contracts that meet profitability targets and uphold brand standards.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients, event planners, and industry influencers.
• Develop an experiences guide, monthly activity calendar, and execute events, classes, and programs that reflect the resort’s values.
• Serve as primary client contact, ensuring high satisfaction before, during, and after events.
• Track and report sales and marketing performance metrics, providing data‑driven insights to senior management.
• Assist the Sales & Marketing Director and Operations team in executing strategic programs and seasonal activities.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience within luxury hospitality.
• Demonstrated success managing and growing social‑media accounts.
• Strong business‑development and client‑relationship skills.
• Ability to lead a small marketing team and coordinate cross‑functional projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
