Senior Vice President Finance – Insurance & Investments

About the role

The Senior Vice President (SVP) Finance will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for shaping and executing the financial strategy of a diversified group operating in insurance, investment and asset‑management businesses. Reporting to the Group CFO and working closely with the CEO and Board, the SVP will drive profitability, capital efficiency and regulatory compliance across a complex, highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead group‑wide financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
• Oversee financial reporting, management accounts, analysis and executive dashboards.
• Provide commercial finance insight, translating data into strategic business decisions.
• Monitor revenue, margins, cash flow, capital adequacy and return on capital across all business units.
• Lead finance functions for insurance operations, including premium income, claims, reserves and underwriting performance.
• Supervise investment and asset‑management finance, covering portfolio reporting, valuation and performance analysis.
• Support capital planning, solvency, liquidity management and treasury operations.
• Strengthen internal controls, governance, risk‑management frameworks and regulatory reporting.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives such as automation, ERP implementation and advanced analytics.
• Lead M&A financial due diligence, modelling, valuation and integration activities.
• Coach and develop senior finance professionals to build a high‑performing finance organization.

Required profile

• Senior finance executive with extensive experience in insurance, investment or asset‑management sectors.
• Proven ability to partner with C‑suite leaders, boards and regulators on strategic financial matters.
• Track record of delivering cost optimisation, capital efficiency and successful transformation programmes.
