About the role

Join the vibrant team at Cip's by Cipraini, part of the renowned Belmond brand, as a Sous Chef. You will work side‑by‑side with the Chef de Cuisine to craft exquisite Italian dishes that delight guests and elevate the dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparing, and presenting menu items in line with the restaurant’s standards.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff while ensuring strict health and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new recipes and refine menu offerings.
• Manage inventory, place orders, and control food costs.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations to maintain consistent quality and creativity.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role, preferably in Italian cuisine.
• Strong leadership abilities with a talent for motivating diverse teams.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
