Overnight Cook

About the role

Four Seasons is hiring an overnight cook for its Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star resort in Anguilla, a seaside property on the island's northwest shore. Line cooks prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and specifications, working efficiently and quickly to provide exceptional quality and service to guests. The position is casual and part-time.

Key responsibilities

• Use the computer system to retrieve orders.
• Work closely with standard recipes and plate presentations to maintain quality in production and presentation.
• Maintain good working relationships with colleagues, giving instruction and encouragement when needed.
• Store items properly at the end of the shift and keep the work area clean, neat and organized.
• Handle and report accidents immediately, and respond properly to hotel emergencies and safety situations.
• Carry out other tasks or projects assigned by hotel management and staff.

Required profile

• One to two years' previous experience in a Food & Beverage outlet; prior experience in a luxury hotel is an asset.
• Ability to operate computer equipment and other Food & Beverage computer systems.
• Strong communication skills.
