Hotel Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead the day‑to‑day delivery of an ultra‑luxury, private‑resort experience in the Caribbean. Reporting to ownership, you will ensure every guest stay is flawlessly executed, from arrival through departure, while maintaining high standards across all service areas.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of accommodation, food & beverage, spa, activities and guest services.
• Lead, coach and develop department heads and a close‑knit hospitality team.
• Manage rosters, budgets and cost control across all departments.
• Serve as the primary contact for VIP guests, resolving issues in real time.
• Collaborate with ownership to set standards, deliver training and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven operations or resort management experience at a five‑star or ultra‑luxury property.
• Track record of leading multi‑department teams in a live‑in or remote island setting.
• Strong financial and budgetary control abilities.
• Experience with private‑villa or exclusive‑use resort operations is advantageous.
